  1. The comments at that article are pretty disturbing. Makes Oldham sound like a bit of a powder keg!

  2. It's edging in that direction.

    It's a complex mixture of the disproportionate number of problematic Asian youths given the demographics, bad policing, bad politics, small town mentalities and how public opinion makes mountains of molehills.

    What's worse is that older Asians will be tarred with the same brush by the likes of the BNP, when they're part of the solution and not an actual problem.

    It's all going to kick off again, at this point it's a matter of when not if - we simply don't have the politicians or the policing to head it off.

    And afterwards there will be finger pointing, hand wringing, several reports and no actual progress.
