I'm all for second chances, but if after you've been part of a gang that destroyed someones eye, and were undergoing prosecution, then maybe you'd think sticking "beats big fat men up" on Facebook might constitute an act of stupidity and a complete failure to be contrite over his actions.
Apparently we also don't know the Whole Story. I'd be interested in what David Barry did to justify having his eye mashed by Applegate and his feral chums. It's going to have to be good.
At least he works. He washes cars, which doesn't surprise me much as he hardly comes across as Mr Educated. Then we get this blinder:
"I'm going to university in another city in September and I could lose six weeks' earnings if I lose my job because of this."He's to be university educated. I'd love to know in which subject. Given Labours attempts to shoehorn everyone into university (nothing to do with unemployment levels in 18-21 year olds, oh no) he'll probably come out with a BA in Automotive Surface Cleansing and 15k debt.
*sigh*
He doesn't seem to have learned a lesson from this, here's hoping life at uni and being away from the rest of the animals will have an effect the justice system failed to provide.
